Hooray! Now what?

So, submitting was worth it (at least this time). Fabulous and most awesome Freya’s Bower offered me a contract on Trusting Destiny (which I am happily accepting!). Obviously, no word on when we’ll have a release, but I’ll keep you posted.

Which brings me to the point of… Now What? I have the contract, which I need to finish, sign, and send off. I have the first “Holy crow, how could you send this to me with this error!” edits to do, and I have some thinking to do about cover art.

The contract is easy, I just read, sign, initial, stamp, send. The first edits aren’t bad – mostly hinging on my horrifying addiction to the word “as” and a few typo/idiotic errors.

But the cover art. Woe. Woe. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a non-bulky, non-teenaged, hot blond for cover art? Seriously? This is much more difficult than I had anticipated. Of course, the fact that I simply MUST look through gajillions of hot-bod pics is really horrible. I think I might cry. Well. Maybe not. But I do want a blond. Who isn’t either 12 or a bodybuilder. Please. Thank you.

I suppose I’m going to have to move to other cover ideas. *le sigh*
