“Emily Ryan-Davis adds a dose of action and suspense, but allows the focus to remain on the reunited couple. All the Women in Pearl flows at a moderate pace from the beginning to end, while bringing old and new characters into this latest installment.” Literary Nymphs Reviews on ALL THE WOMEN IN PEARL

“This is a book in which I loved the voice but didn’t love the execution of the story which means I’ll be on the look out for future books despite this one not working out for me.” – Jane at Dear Author on ALL THE WOMEN IN PEARL

Emily Ryan-Davis’ “Jesse’s Hands” is a captivating exploration of unfulfilled desire, control, and the psychology of loneliness and longing. The heroine’s sense of desperation throughout her one time only rendezvous with Jesse is utterly heart-wrenching. The story gives a rare look into the delicate and powerful balance between domination and submission that is difficult to achieve. Ms. Davis’ writing is an example of the sum being greater than the parts — not a single gorgeous word is wasted. I couldn’t help but compare it to the beauty and dark complexity of Anais Nin; a work that invades your body and mind.” – Golden Heart winner  Jeannie Lin

“Their relationship is drawn so well, so poignantly, that it is nearly painful to read in spots, but the characters are so finely crafted that you feel you know these people, and you just have to find out what happens. All in all, an engaging and satisfying read that leaves you feeling a little rough around the edges – in a good way.” – BDSM Reviews on “Unwrapping Amy” (A ROSE OF ANY COLOUR: MALEDOM)

“When I read a book by an author that can make me think—without me even realising until the end—that I am the character in the book, then I know I’ve found someone who will go far in the publishing world. Ms. Ryan-Davis is an extremely talented writer.” – Cocktail Reviews, on Dragon Queen books

Wow.  Unwrapping Amy is the first story I have read by Emily Ryan-Davis and is a perfect example of why I enjoy reading anthologies.  It is a great way to be introduced to new authors whose work you may have unintentionally overlooked in the past.  This writer effortlessly pulled me into her story from page one, instantly fostering empathy for both Amy and Mac within me as I watched their issues snowball until some very explosive and emotional scenes where they finally work them out.  Bravo to Ms. Ryan-Davis on a story very well done!” Jennifer
